Hyderabad: The State government on Monday asked the Board of Intermediate Education to declare the results for Class XII on the basis of pre-determined objective criteria. An order, cancelling the second-year Intermediate Public Examinations for the academic year 2020-21, was also issued on Monday.
The decision to cancel the exams considering the present Covid-19 pandemic situation prevailing in the State was announced last week.
According to the order issued on Monday, the Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, has also been directed to prepare and submit pre-determined objective criteria for declaration of Class XII results after due consultations, for approval of the government.
This apart, the Board has been instructed to issue orders for promoting all Class XI students to Class XII.
