Telangana: Congress leaders continue to forget CM’s name

Tungaturthy MLA Samuel, while addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan, calls Uttam Kumar Reddy the Chief Minister

Hyderabad: In what is now turning into a regular occurrence, Tungaturthy MLA M Samuel failed to recollect Chief Minister’s name. Earlier, Ministers, senior leaders and anchors forgot his name on different embarrassing occasions.

Addressing mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, the Tungaturthy MLA thanked the State government for SC sub classification initiated as per the orders of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi but ended up forgetting the Chief Minister’s name and instead called N Uttam Kumar Reddy the Chief Minister.


“Following the party high command orders, Chief Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took up the initiative,” M Samuel said.

He also demanded the State leadership that a MLA from Madiga community should be given a berth in the cabinet. To this effect, already a representation was submitted to the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar along with Government Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and former Minister Sudershan Reddy inspected the River Sabarmati beautification works.
