Hyderabad: TPCC working president T Jagga Reddy said internal differences among leaders in the Congress party were common and appealed to the party cadre not to worry about such issues.
Referring to the objections raised by a senior leader in the party over Mulugu MLA Sitakka tying ‘rakhi’ to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu recently, Jagga Reddy said those differences would be sorted out by the party.
Addressing mediapersons here on Tuesday, the TPCC working president said if there were no differences among leaders in the State Congress party, then it was definitely a problem.
“AICC in-charge Manickam Tagore will coordinate with leaders in the party and fix all the differences,” said Jagga Reddy.
He alleged that ruling TRS and BJP were hatching conspiracies to curb the growth of Congress party in the State. At regional level, both the parties fight against each other but at national level they work for mutual benefit, he accused.
“State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay and party leader Eatala Rajender will become scapegoats of TRS and BJP politics,” charged Jagga Reddy.
Finding fault with Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh’s comments over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, he wanted the BJP MLA to mend his ways. “Raja Singh lacks support and respect within the State BJP and he should desist from commenting on a national level leader,” said Jagga Reddy.
Regarding heavy rains in the State since last one week, the TPCC working president demanded the State government to pay Rs.10,000 per acre to farmers over crop loss.
Meanwhile, members of the newly constituted TPCC led by its president Revanth Reddy will be meeting Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Wednesday.
