Hyderabad: Taking serious objection to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Sharma’s comments against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, the State Congress leaders have decided to lodge complaints with police across the State.
To this effect, TPCC president A Revanth Reddy said he would lodge a complaint against Sharma with Jubilee Hills police station. Similarly, Congress leaders will lodge complaints in all the police stations across the State, he said on Sunday. The Party’s women’s wing will lodge a complaint with Women’s Commission.
The TPCC president said BJP leaders were stooping to a new low in abusing leaders from other political parties. “It is very unfortunate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president JP Nadda or union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy have not condemned the Assam Chief Minister’s comments,” he said.
