Siddipet: Lawlessness came to the fore again in Dubbak as Congress workers pelted the vehicle of Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy with tomatoes and eggs while he was on his way to review the progress of the works in Dubbak municipality on Thursday.

Condemning the attack, Prabhakar Reddy said the Congress was resorting to diversion politics unable to address public issues. When the BRS was raising the issues concerning the public, the Congress was trying to divert public attention through demolition of houses and objectionable comments against actors.

Responding to allegations of spreading misleading messages against Minister Konda Surekha on social media, the Dubbak MLA said the ruling party must place a bill in the assembly to control the spread of such messages on social media.

The BRS would support the government if they had any commitment to such issues.

Asking the government to act tough against those spreading false messages on social media, he asked what was stopping the police from taking action against cyber criminals for making misleading posts on Surekha.

Stating that the BRS would never encourage such trend, he asked how would a common woman would feel secure if a woman Minister didn’t feel safe in Congress rule.
