Hyderabad: A local court here on Thursday issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against BJP Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind for allegedly failing to appear before the court in a pending case booked in 2020.
Based on a complaint, the Banjara Hills police registered the case against Arvind for tearing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s poster put up on the road at KBR Park during Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections in 2020.
Since Arvind failed to appear before it, the Special Sessions court for MP and MLAs issued the NBW against him and directed the police to produce him before it on March 28.
