Hyderabad: Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has appealed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to issue an immediate directive to the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to scrap the illegally constituted Governing Council.
“We appeal to the BCCI to suspend the HCA’s administrative privileges until full compliance with the BCCI Constitution is achieved, and refer the matter to the Ombudsman and Ethics Officer for disciplinary proceedings against responsible HCA office-bearers,” said TCA general secretary D Guruva Reddy in the representation.
“We also seek appointment of an interim administrator to oversee cricket administration in Telangana until free, fair and constitutionally compliant elections are conducted,” the TCA said.
“The BCCI should also ensure that no funds, approvals or recognition are extended to the proposed T20 League by the HCA until it is legally and constitutionally authorised,” the TCA added.
