BC Welfare Minister G Kamalakar served meal to poor as part of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's birthday celebrations held in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Tuesday said that Telangana developed at a rapid pace in the last seven years and added that all sections of the society were happy under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar.

He was speaking during an annadanam programme which was organised in Karimnagar to mark the birthday of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. The Minister along with Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao served the meal to the needy on the occasion.


Wishing a long life to the Chief Minister, the Minister requested K Chandrashekhar Rao to enter into national politics soon so that all Indians would live happily like the people of our State and added that the people of Telangana were eagerly waiting for February 17, the birthday of K Chandrashekhar Rao.

He further informed that annadanam and blood donation camps will be organised in all villages, mandals and district headquarters for the next three days. MLAs Sunke Ravishankar (Choppadandi), Dasari Manohar Reddy (Peddapalli), Korukanti Chander (Ramagundam) and others participated.
