Telangana DISCOMs deliver festival greetings to over 8 million consumers

Telangana DISCOMs have rolled out a festive outreach programme, delivering personalised New Year and Sankranti greetings from Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to Gruha Jyothi beneficiaries and agricultural power consumers.

Hyderabad: Telangana DISCOMs have launched an initiative to deliver New Year and Sankranti greetings from Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to Gruha Jyothi beneficiaries and agricultural power consumers.

The letters, carrying the consumer’s name and service connection number, are delivered to homes by TGSPDCL and TGNPDCL staff.

As many as 52,82,498 Gruha Jyothi beneficiaries and 30,03,813 agricultural consumers are set to receive the letters. Officials said the initiative would strengthen direct engagement and improve service delivery.
