Hyderabad: The Directorate of School Education on Saturday permitted online/distance learning for Classes VIII, IX and X. It also instructed 50 per cent of teaching and non-teaching staff to attend the schools on a rotational basis from January 24. A proceeding to this effect was issued on Saturday.
The move comes in view of the State government extending holidays for all educational institutions except for the medical colleges till January 30.
The Directorate has directed all heads of the departments, Regional Joint Directors of School Education, Hyderabad and Warangal and all District Educational Officers in the State to take necessary action accordingly.
