Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday extended the last date for registration of colleges and students on Telangana e-Pass website for sanction of fresh and renewal of scholarships for the academic year 2021-22, up to March 31.
Admissions to various professional, degree and postgraduate courses were not completed so far due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Scheduled Caste Development department said in a press release.
So far, 5,86,011 students registered for renewal as against 7,97,656 eligible students. Similarly, 2,29,246 fresh students registered as against 5,50,000 students registered during the last year, it said.
The conveners of CPGET, DIETCET, EdCET, LAWCET and PGECET have not yet finalized counselling data which was required for fresh registration of students, it said, adding that hence the government decided to extend the registration up to March 31.
