Hyderabad: Properties and movable assets estimated at Rs 6.55 crore have been frozen by the Telangana EAGLE Force in connection with a cocaine and MDMA trafficking case, as part of an ongoing financial crackdown on drug syndicates.

The Cyberabad Narcotics Police Station, operating under the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE), had earlier seized 16.50 grams of cocaine, 52.29 grams of MDMA, eight mobile phones, three laptops, two pen drives and Rs 45,000 in cash during the registration of the case under the NDPS Act in 2025.

During the subsequent financial investigation, officials identified movable assets worth Rs 55.36 lakh and immovable properties valued at Rs 2.96 crore according to government rates.

Together with the movable assets, their estimated market value stands at Rs 6.55 crore.

The asset freeze was executed under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act following formal confirmation by the competent authority in Chennai.

The action is the result of a detailed financial probe tracking the asset trails of the accused, their associates and relatives.
