Telangana: Elderly man dies in bike accident after taking lift in Sangareddy

An elderly man, who was riding on a bike after requesting the rider for a free lift, died after the bike collided with another motorbike at Nagapur village in Narayankhed mandal

Sangareddy: An elderly man, who was pillion riding on a bike after requesting the rider for a free lift, died after the bike collided with another motorbike at Nagapur village in Narayankhed mandal on Thursday.

According to the police, Agriculture Extension Officer Suresh (35) was going towards Narayankhed when Bheekya Nayak (65), a resident of Nagapur thanda, requested him for a lift. While they were traveling on the bike, another man Kashiram (35) and his son Chandu (5), who were also going in the same direction on their motorbike, hit Suresh’s bike. While Nayak died on the spot, Suresh, Kashiram and Chandu sustained serious injuries.


They were rushed to the government hospital in Narayankhed for treatment. A case was registered.
