A 70-year-old woman, Igave Lakshmibai, was run over by an earthmover while crossing the road near the RTA office at Lakshmi Nagar in Kandi on Tuesday. She died on the spot. Police registered a case and are searching for the driver
Sangareddy: A 70-year-old woman was killed on the spot after being run over by an earthmover at Lakshmi Nagar in Kandi mandal headquarters on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Igave Lakshmibai, was crossing the road near the RTA office when the JCB driver, reportedly driving recklessly, ran over her. She sustained multiple injuries and died instantly.
The driver fled the scene after the incident. Police registered a case and shifted the body to the government hospital in Sangareddy for a postmortem.
