Hyderabad: Students of Government Degree Colleges in the State can now take up entrepreneurship activities through the Entrepreneurship Development Cells established in these colleges. “Keeping in view the contemporary requirement of encouraging skill based training and education coupled with provision of appropriate platform to encourage innovation and ideation amongst the students such facilities have been created in the Government Degree Colleges,” Commissioner of Collegiate Education Navin Mittal said on Friday.
He was addressing principals of 123 Government Colleges and over 200 in-charges of ED Cells of these colleges during an online webinar “Fostering the Culture of Innovation at Government Colleges of Telangana State through ED Cells” organised jointly by the Osmania Technology Business Incubator, Osmania University and Commissionerate of Collegiate Education.
Osmania University through Osmania Technology Business Incubator is providing necessary training through workshops and webinars to create entrepreneurial skills amongst its stakeholders, according to Prof D Ravinder, Vice-Chancellor of the University.
