Telangana: Extremely Heavy Rainfall Pummels Kamareddy, Medak and Nirmal
Telangana witnessed extreme rainfall, with Kamareddy, Medak and Nirmal districts worst hit. Rajampet in Kamareddy recorded 440.5 mm, while Medak and Nirmal logged over 328 mm. Heavy flooding disrupted normal life, as several other districts saw 150–200 mm rainfall.

Hyderabad: Heavy rains continued to last the districts of Kamareddy, Nirmal and Medak, leading to massive flooding across the three districts.
By the time the downpour relented, parts of Kamareddy such as Rajampet had already recorded 440.5 mm of rainfall in the last 24-hours, raising the flood water levels.
Based on rainfall data by Telangana Development Planning Society (TSDPS), Kamareddy town was hammered by heavy downpour of 334.3 mm.
Nirmal recorded 328.8 mm, while several parts of Medak including Havelighanpur witnessed 328.3 mm of extremely heavy rainfall. Several other regions in Nirmal, Kamareddy and Medak districts recorded rainfall ranging from 211 mm to the maximum of 440.5 mm at Argonda, Rajampet in Kamareddy district.
Other districts of Telangana also reported heavy rainfall that ranged from 150 mm to 200 mm.
