Telangana: Fire staff rescue elderly woman from well in Karimnagar

An elderly woman from Choppadandi mandal was rescued by fire service personnel after she slipped and fell into a well on Monday. Acting swiftly, the fire team retrieved her safely using ropes, following alerts from neighbours and police

KARIMNAGAR: Fire service personnel rescued an elderly woman who fell into a well in Choppadandi mandal on Monday.

Panchala Bhagyalakshmi, a resident of the 13th ward, accidentally slipped and fell into the well. Neighbours immediately alerted the police and the fire service department.


Acting swiftly, a team led by Choppadandi Fire Station Officer P Pavan reached the spot and retrieved the woman using ropes.

Fire staff members Ch Narender, E Shashi Kumar, G Ganesh, K Sattaiah, B Arun Kumar and others participated in the rescue operation.
