Five girls and four boys from Nirmal district were selected to participate in a state-level boxing event slated to be held in Mancherial from May 24 to 26
Nirmal: Five girls and four boys from Nirmal district were selected to participate in a state-level boxing event slated to be held in Mancherial from May 24 to 26.
District boxing association secretary Swamy, in a statement, said that the girls Nikitha, Akshitha, Keerthana, Abhinaya, and Shravani were qualified to take part under-17 category, while the boys Dikshit, Krishi Reddy, Shouryan Reddy, and Abhilash were selected under the same category.
The girls and boys were congratulated by the district boxing association president, T Sridhar, and members, district youth services and sports officer B Srikanth Reddy, and excise department superintendent Abdul Razzak for securing the opportunity.
