Telangana: Five held for gambling in Asifabad

The accused were apprehended for committing the offence during a raid held in one of the houses of the accused at Navgaon basti in the town, following a tip-off

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Five persons were arrested for allegedly indulging in banned gambling in Kagaznagar town on Saturday.

Kagaznagar Inspector T Shankaraiah said that Mohammad Haneef, Mohammad Lateef, Shaik Riyaz, Banda Parameshwar and Chilumula Venkataswamy were apprehended for committing the offence during a raid held on Haneef’s house at Navgaon basti in the town, following a tip-off.


Sub-Inspector Sudhakar and constables took part in the raid.
