Deceased person's wife, other family members rushed to government hospital in Siddipet

Siddipet: As many as 40 people, who were participating in a funeral procession of an elderly man, were injured as a swarm of honey bees attacked them at Naganur on Thursday.

Mutyala Rajaiah (72) passed away in the village due to age-related ailments on Thursday morning. While the villagers were taking the body to burial ground in a procession, bees attacked them.


The deceased person’s wife Yelavva, family members Rakesh, Yellaiah, Chandraiah, Bhagyalakshmi, Lingaiah, Manjula and Uppalavva sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to government hospital in Siddipet after providing first aid in a local hospital.
