Hyderabad: In a novel initiative, the Potlapalli Kamala Manohara Rao Foundation, on the occasion of Republic Day celebrations, distributed sports dresses (kits) to students of the Government Primary School in Aswaraopalli village, Raghunathapalli mandal, Jangaon district.

The programme was led by Kaladhara Rao, Chairman of the Foundation, who encouraged students to pursue education with dedication, actively participate in sports, and aspire for higher goals. He also urged teachers and villagers to work collectively towards increasing enrolment and strengthening government schools.

The initiative of distributing sports kits to students reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to rural education, health, and community development, while carrying forward the legacy of late Potlapalli Kamala Manohar Rao, the press release said.

The programme brought joy and motivation to the students and highlighted the importance of grassroots efforts in promoting equality and holistic development among rural youth, Foundation officials added.
