Telangana: Four-year-old raped by two youths in Choutuppal

Alerted by the girl screaming in distress, residents from nearby houses, rushed to her rescue. They broke open the gates and doors of the premises and saved the child from the accused

Telangana: Four-year-old raped by two youths in Choutuppal

Yadadri Bhongir: A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two youths in Choutuppal town on Friday. The accused who hailed from Madhya Pradesh, lured the child  to a secluded place BY offering chocolates and subjected her to the traumatic act. The identity of the accused is yet to be officially disclosed.

Alerted by the girl screaming in distress, residents from nearby houses, rushed to her rescue. They broke open the gates and doors of the premises and saved the child from the accused. The child was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.


Her condition is said to be critical. Enraged villagers apprehended the two suspects on the spot and handed them over to the Choutuppal police. Police registered a case under relevant sections of the POCSO Act and the investigation is underway. The police sources said the accused may have been under the influence of alcohol or ganja at the time of the crime.
