Accordingly, the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS Eamcet) 2021 will be held from August 4 with the engineering stream on August 4, 5 and 6 and AM stream on August 9 and 10.

According to the schedule issued by the government, the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) will be held on August 3 while the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is scheduled to take place from August 11 to 14. Similarly, Polytechnic Common Entrance Test will be held on July 17.

Earlier, the PGECET was to be conducted from June 19 to 22, TS ECET on July 1 and TS EAMCET from July 5 to 9. However, there is no change in the exam dates of ICET, LAWCET and EdCET. As decided earlier, the ICET will be held on August 19 and 20, LAWCET on August 23 and EdCET on August 24 and 25.

The CET schedule was finalised during a meeting convened by Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy with Education Department officials on Monday. All the CETs would be conducted duly following the Covid-19 safety protocols, she said.

The Minister directed all universities to conduct final year exams of engineering, postgraduate, degree and diploma courses from the first week of July and complete them by end of the month. In line with the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to complete final year exams at the earliest, all such exams would be conducted from July 1. The Minister directed officials to allow final-year students to complete their backlog examinations by July end. Senior Education Department officials including it secretary, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Commissioner of Technical and Collegiate Education, Navin Mittal and others were present.
