Hyderabad: The Telangana Gazetted Officers Association Central Association (TGOACA) and other employees Association members have thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for announcing 30 per cent fitment, besides enhancing the retirement age from 58 to 61 years.
The TGOACA working Committee meeting was held here on Tuesday and all the District presidents and secretaries, Secretariat employees and other Associations members participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, which was chaired by TGOA president V Mamatha and secretary A Satyanarayana passed resolutions thanking the Chief Minister and Telangana Government for taking decisions like slashing the mandatory period of three years to two years for promotions. Similarly, reducing the retired employees’ quantum of pension from 75 years to 70 years and extending the family pension to CPS employees was also lauded.
The Association also passed a resolution appealing the government to consider conferment of IAS to eligible State Cadre officials.
