Hyderabad: The Scheduled Caste Development department on Saturday extended the last date for registration of colleges and students in Telangana e-pass website for sanction of fresh and renewal of post-matric scholarships for the academic year 2021-22 up to January 31.
The registration date has been extended as the admissions into various professional, degree and postgraduate courses were yet to complete.
According to the department, 31,369 students renewed their scholarships so far as against 7,97,656 candidates who had registered their names on the e-pass website. Similarly, 1,959 fresh students registered their names as against 5.50 lakh fresh applications. The post-matric scholarships will be granted to SCs, STs, BC, EBC, Minorities and Physically Challenged students in the State.
