HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the State government would extend Rs 3 lakh assistance to SC, ST, BC and Minorities’ youth under Rajiv Yuva Vikasam.

To this effect, the government has approved a budget of Rs 6,000 crore. The assistance would be extended to five lakh eligible beneficiaries under self-employment schemes, he said at a press conference here on Tuesday.

A notification would be issued on March 15 and youth can submit their applications online till April 5. Accordingly, from April 6 to May 31, the applications would be scrutinised and beneficiaries identified. Approval letters would be issued to the identified beneficiaries on June 2, he added.
