Hyderabad: As announced by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has resumed distribution of the interim flood relief of Rs.10000 to affected families.
On Tuesday alone, Rs.7.94 crore was deposited in the bank accounts of 7939 families that were affected by the rains in October.
GHMC officials said the distribution of financial aid would be continued during the next few days and appealed to the people not to visit Mee Seva centres for any enrollment.
The Municipal Corporation officials said prior to GHMC elections, Rs.649 crore was distributed as financial aid to 6.49 lakh families.
