HYDERABAD: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said Governor Jishnu Dev Varma had approved the Bhu Bharathi – 2024 Bill and efforts would be made to implement the new Act at the earliest.

The State government had introduced the Bhu Bharathi Bill to extend comprehensive and better revenue services to people. All measures have been taken to address the land issues permanently, he said here on Thursday, adding that instructions were issued to officials to frame rules and guidelines at the earliest and implement the same. One revenue officer would be appointed for every revenue village. The revenue officials should work as per the people’s aspirations and address all their issues, he added.
