Rajanna Sircilla: TS Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Uppala Srinivas Gupta informed that the government has decided to develop various tourist places in the State with Rs 1,400 crore.
Srinivas, who visited the Vemulawada temple on Monday, spoke to media persons and said the State government was giving top priority to the development of tourism as well as pilgrimage centres in the State.

Talking about the development of the Vemulawada shrine, he informed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has taken up the reconstruction work of the Rajarajeshwaraswamy temple. He said the Tourism Department is offering special darshans in the temple under special tourism packages.
Gupta assured to provide better facilities in Vemulawada Haritha Hotel and construct rooms for the convenience of pilgrims. On the occasion, he planted a sapling on the Haritha hotel premises as part of the Green Challenge. Later, he along with family members performed pujas to Rajarajeshwaraswamy and offered kodemokku.
