Telangana govt announces 618 medals to personnel from various depts

Hyderabad: The State government has announced 618 medals to personnel in recognition of their distinguished services and good work in their respective departments including Police, Fire services, Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E), Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and Special Protection Force (SPF), in connection with New Year.
These medals were announced in four different categories. Seven personnel were selected for Telangana State Police Mahonnatha Seva Pathakam, while 50 were selected for Telangana State Police Katina Seva Pathakam and 90 for Telangana State Police Uttama Seva Pathakam.
As many as 471 personnel were selected for Telangana State Police Seva Pathakam, according to Principal Secretary (Home) Ravi Gupta. The State government announced the medals after examining the proposals submitted by the heads of Police, Fire Services, V&E, ACB and SPF.
The seven police personnel, who got Telangana State Police Mahonnatha Seva Pathakam are Warangal Assistant Reserve Sub-Inspector (ARSI) Md. Sharfuddin, Vemulawada Town police station Sub-Inspector P Rama Chandram, Mamnoor Telangana State Special Police fourth battalion Additional Commandant R Venkataiah, Kondapur TSSP eight battalion ARSI G Samuel Raju, Counter Intelligence (CI) Cell Inspector K Rajendra Prasad and Bhadadri-Kothagudem head constable PD Christopher.
