Telangana govt ready to launch MSME mentorship centre: Jayesh Ranjan

Hyderabad: The MSME sector has been badly hit by the Covid. However, the sector has faced challenges bravely. The Telangana government is ready to launch an MSME mentorship centre to guide the MSMEs, said IT and Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan.
He participated in a meeting on ‘Convergence of Central and State Government Schemes for MSMEs’, organised by industry body Telangana Industrialists Federation (TIF).
The Central government has many schemes that support setting up basic amenities, common testing laboratories, sewage and effluent treatment plants in industrial areas. They also allow entrepreneurs to showcase their products at the national and international platforms, said D Chandrashekar, who has been appointed as additional development commissioner in the MSME department. He was felicitated by TIF and representatives of other industry bodies.
Industries Department director Krishna Bhaskar, TSIIC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director EV Narasimha Reddy, TSIIC CEO Madhusudhan attended the meeting. TIF president K Sudhir Reddy, General Secretaries SV Raghu and Gopal Rao, FSME President APK Reddy, Pesticides Manufacturers’ President Raja Mahender, Laghu Udyoga Bharathi (Telangana) president Charan Rao and representatives from over 30 industrial bodies were present, a release said.
