Telangana govt reshuffles IPS officers; key postings in Home, Vigilance, ACB

The Telangana government ordered a major reshuffle of IPS officers on Saturday, transferring senior officials and giving key postings in Home, Vigilance, ACB, Intelligence, and Disaster Response. Hyderabad CP C.V. Anand was elevated as Special Chief Secretary to Government.

Hyderabad: The State government on Saturday transferred several IPS officers and gave them new postings, while a few officers were given additional charge of certain wings and agencies.

Ravi Gupta, a 1990 batch officer serving as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department and is transferred and posted as Executive Vice Chairman and Director General for Good Governance Telangana.

Shikha Goel (1994 batch), Director, TG Cyber Security Bureau, Hyderabad and HFAC Director, Telangana, FSL , Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Director General, Vigilance & Enforcement and Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to Government, General Administration Department. She is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Director, TG Cyber Security Bureau, Hyderabad until further orders.

Swati Lakra (1995),Additional Director General of Police, Organization and Home Guards, Telangana, Hyderabad is placed in full additional charge of the post of Director General, Special Protection Force, Telangana.

Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat (1995), Additional Director General of Police (L&O), Telangana, Hyderabad is placed in full additional charge of the post of Additional Director General of Police (Personnel), Telangana.

Charu Sinha (1996), Additional Director General of Police, CID, Telangana is placed in full additional charge of the post of Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, Telangana.

Dr. Anil Kumar (1996), is posted as Additional Director General of Police (Operations), Greyhounds and Octopus, Telangana.

Vijay Kumar (1997), is posted as Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, Hyderabad.

Y. Nagi Reddy (1997), Director General, Telangana Disaster Response & Fire Services, Telangana, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Managing Director, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation.

Devendra Singh Chauhan (1997), is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Multizone II.

Vikram Singh Mann (1998), is transferred and posted as Director General, Telangana Disaster Response & Fire Services, M. Stephen Raveendra (1990), is posted as Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to Govt., CAF&CS Department .

M. Srinivasulu (2006), IGP, CID, Telangana, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Hyderabad City.

Tafseer Iqubal (2008), is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, L&O, Hyderabad City.

S. M. Vijay Kumar (2012), is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Siddipet.

Sindhu Sharma (2014), is transferred and posted as Joint Director, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana.
