Telangana: Harish Rao hails State’s historic achievement and 11 years of triumph

Hyderabad: Visionary leader and BRS chief, K Chandrashekhar Rao and the people’s movement spearheaded by him achieved a historic milestone on this very day with the Telangana Bill approved in the Lok Sabha.
This momentous event fulfilled the long-standing aspirations of the Telangana people, marking a new chapter in the State’s history, said T Harish Rao, former Minister and MLA on Tuesday.
Hailing the passing of the Telangana Bill in Parliament as a significant achievement, he said that the State celebrates its 11th anniversary. This occasion comes just a day after the birthday celebrations of K Chandrashekhar Rao, who led the movement for statehood and formation of Telangana.
