Telangana: Heavy to light rainfall in Karimnagar district

Karimnagar town (15.5 mm), Kothapalli (15.3), Khasimpet (12.0), Manakondur (8.0), Durshed (5.3), Jammikunta (4.0), Gangadhara (3.3) and Arnakonda were the other places where rainfall was recorded.

Karimnagar: Heavy to very light rainfall was recorded in erstwhile Karimnagar district on Thursday morning.

The highest rainfall of 82.0 mm was recorded in Venkepalli of V Saidapur mandal followed by Kothagattu of Shankarapatnam mandal 78.8 and Chigurumamidi 78.8 mm in Karimnagar district.

Rajanna-Sircilla, Marthanpet recorded 12.5 mm, Nerella (10.5), Marrigadda (9.0), Ellanthakunta (8.3), Peddalingapuram (6.3), Kandikatkur (6.0), Namapur (4.5) and Vemulawada rural areas.

In Jagitial district, Jagitial town recorded 7.8 mm while Maddutla recorded 5.3 mm, and in Peddapalli, the rainfall recorded were Mutharam (6.8) and Suglampalli (2.8 mm).
