Telangana High Court issues warrant against Sircilla Collector
The Telangana High Court has issued a warrant against Rajanna-Sircilla Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha for failing to comply with its directive to compensate a land oustee affected by the Mid Manair project. The Collector also missed the court hearing without explanation. The court took serious note of the lapse and ordered legal action.

Rajanna-Sircilla: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday issued a warrant against Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha for failing to follow the court’s instructions and skipping the hearing.
The case relates to a land oustee from Cheerlavancha, Velpula Yellaiah, who lost his house during the construction of the Mid Manair project. He approached the court after the district administration failed to provide him adequate compensation.
In June, the court had directed the administration to pay the compensation. However, not only was the payment denied, the Collector also failed to appear before the court on Wednesday and did not offer any explanation.
Taking serious note of the lapse, the judge issued a warrant against the Collector.
