Telangana: Hyderabad residents on way to Prayagraj meet with accident, one killed
Six Hyderabad residents on their way to Prayagraj in a car met with an accident near Balkonda of Nizamabad district. One died and five others were injured

Nizamabad: One person died and five others injured when their car rammed into a truck going in the same direction near Chittapur village on National Highway 44 here on Thursday evening, police said. The victims were on their way to participate in the Mahakumbh at Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh.
The mishap occurred when the car was trying to overtake a truck. The victims were hailing from Chintal locality of Hyderabad. The injured persons were P Ramesh, Chandrasekhar Chari, V Srinivas, Rajaikanth and P Sai Vishal while the deceased person was identified as Sampath Rana. The lorry driver was taken into custody.
