Nalgonda: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Sunday exuded confidence that TRS would capture the chairman’s post of Nakrekal municipality, which would lead to development of the municipality on all fronts.

Participating in a road show at Nakrekal as part of his municipal election campaign, Jagadish Reddy said: “The vote is a powerful weapon to bring change in the system. Farmers who voted for TRS in the 2014 elections are now reaping the benefits of irrigation facilities for two crops and investment support under Rythu Bandhu, increased welfare pensions and solution to drinking water through Mission Bhagiratha. We are close to achieving the goal of Bangaru Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.”

He said the vision of the Chief Minister had placed Telangana in top position in welfare schemes and development in the country. “Voting for TRS means supporting development and effective implementation of welfare schemes,” the Minister said, adding that people were supporting TRS in every election to support the leadership of Chandarashekhar Rao.

He asked the voters of Nakekal to vote for TRS candidates in the municipal elections for development of their town.

Telangana State Legislative Council Vice Chairman Nethi Vidhya Sagar, Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav and Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah also participated in the road show.
