Hyderabad: Students appearing for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), April 2022, will have more choices among questions to choose from.

In the intermediate exams held in October 2021, some sections in the question papers had 50 per cent choices among questions. These choices will be further enhanced for ensuing inter examinations.

In order to reduce stress among students, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has decided to increase choices in the question papers. Accordingly, the Board is setting the question papers.

“Once the paper setting is completed, we will be sharing model paper of each subject in the public domain for information of students,” a senior official told Telangana Today.

The IPE 2022 are likely to be conducted from the last week of April to the second week of May.

This apart, the IPE 2022 will be conducted covering 70 per cent of the total syllabus in each subject. The State government has accorded permission to the Board to reduce the syllabus by 30 per cent in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last year too, inter exams were conducted covering 70 per cent of the total syllabus as the physical classes could not be held due to the pandemic.
