Telangana Inter results: Khammam stands at fifth place, Kothagudem at ninth place

Khammam: Khammam district stood at fifth place at state level in intermediate second year exams, the results of which were announced on Tuesday. As many as 14, 876 students appeared for second year exams and of them 11, 557 passed enabling the district to achieve a pass percentage of 77.06 at state level. In the first year, the district stood at third place with a pass percentage of 71.15, informed the district intermediate education officer K Ravi Babu.
The district bettered its performance in the exams this year in comparison with the previous year, he said. Both Khammam and Kothagudem districts secured results that were above the state average pass percentage in first and second year results.
Kothagudem stood at 9th place at state level in intermediate exams (general) and 10th place intermediate (vocational) results. The district achieved a pass percentage of 72.43 in second year results with general and vocational results combined while it was 62.44 percent in first year results.
