Telangana inter results likely on April 5 or 6; Supplementary exams from May 6

TGBIE has announced that results of the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), beginning February 25, will be released by April 5 or 6. To expedite the process, evaluation of answer scripts will start on February 26, supported by a new online staff portal with details of 41,000 evaluators.

Hyderabad: Results of the intermediate public examinations (IPE) commencing February 25 are expected to be released on April 5 or 6. The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has set a target to release the results in the first week of April.

To speed up the post examination process, the Board has decided to start the evaluation of answer scripts from February 26, a day after the first exam. However, officials say that the evaluation process will pick up pace from February 28.

This time, with the cooperation of Centre for Good Governance (CGG), an online staff portal has been introduced and details of 41,000 evaluators have been included in this portal, and evaluation duties will be assigned based on this data.

A total of 10,47,815 students enrolled in the intermediate first and second-year streams for the academic year 2025-26. Of the total admitted, 9.96 lakh students paid the examination fee. As many as 1,495 centres have been constituted for smooth conduct of the exams, which will conclude on March 18.

The examinations will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, with the last entry into centre at 9.05 am. Students have been advised to reach the centres by 8.45 am.

Furthermore, the Board is planning to hold the intermediate public advanced supplementary examinations within a month after the results announcement i.e., from May 6. These exams will be completed in about a week and evaluation in 20 days, with results scheduled for release in the last week of May.

With the academic year for 2026-27 beginning June 1, the authorities are aiming to complete the examinations and announce the results before the start of the new academic session.
