Hyderabad: The first-year intermediate public examinations for second-year students will be conducted from October 25 to November 2.
Earlier this year, these examinations were not conducted due to the Covid-19 pandemic and all first-year students were promoted to second-year. However, it was informed to students that exams would be conducted whenever situation becomes possible at a future date.
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) on Friday said intermediate public exams for regular first year students of the academic year 2020-21 would be conducted from October 25. The examinations would be held from 9 am to 12 noon and as per earlier announced 70 per cent syllabus only.
“All Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed at every exam centre. One or two isolation rooms will be arranged in every centre for allotting students suffering from suspected symptoms,” the Board said, adding that only vaccinated personnel will be preferred while appointing for the conduct of the examinations.
Ethics and human values, and environmental education exams have already been conducted as home assignment for student in the month of April 2021, it added.
