Karimnagar: Internal bickerings in the BJP came to the fore on Tuesday when BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar warned against dissidence in the party. “We will take action against party leaders indulging in anti-party activities,” he said.

“BJP is a disciplined party. Whatever their position, all leaders should work following the party ideology and procedures. There is no question of tolerating anyone crossing the party line. Action will be taken against such leaders,” he warned, referring to dissidents in the saffron party holding a meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Addressing party party workers here, Sanjay said every party has dissidents. “Instead of working for the growth of the party, they always show their opposition to leaders working for the party,” he said. Stating that such leaders should be ignored, he asked party leaders and activists to work with commitment for the development of the party. It was time for the party to come to power in the state, he said, and advised leaders not to spoil their political future by following dissidents.

It may be recalled that a few weeks ago, some senior BJP leaders from erstwhile Karimnagar district had also conducted a secret meeting against the party president.
