JAGTIAL: Senior Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy came down heavily on the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for suppressing him during the last two and a half years. He said he would now wage a war against the Chief Minister.
Jeevan Reddy, who did not speak openly against the CM all these days, made serious allegations stating that he has been suppressed by Revanth Reddy. His criticism came after he submitted his resignation to the party and addressed a meeting held along with his followers and Congress workers in Jagtial town on Wednesday.
He sought to know from his followers who attended the meeting whether it was wrong to raise a banner of revolt, instead of being suppressed by the Chief Minister. How many days should I suffer the humiliations and mental distress? he questioned.
Except for the leaders having the blessings of Revanth Reddy, others, especially his opponents, have no scope to survive in the Congress party. He said Revanth Reddy was suppressing the leader like him, who was following the ideology of Rahul Gandhi. He also reminded his followers that he had never asked for nominated posts or the post of government advisor or that of a corporation chairman.
