Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday thanked the voters in the seven Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) including Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation and Khammam Municipal Corporation for electing Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) with a 74 per cent vote share.

Of the total 248 wards, the TRS party emerged victorious in 181 wards and its ally CPI in three wards, taking the tally to 184 wards, proving that TRS was unstoppable, the Chief Minister said.

“People have owned TRS as their party and this verdict in the seven ULBs has proved this yet again,” the Chief Minister said, thanking the voters in the ULBs for electing TRS with a thumping majority.
