Telangana: KGBV students on protest demanding their own teachers

While the SSA teaches on strike demanding regularisation of their services, their students in KGBV schools are protesting demanding their own teachers in Jagitial

JAGTIAL: Students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Mallial, on Saturday staged a protest demanding their own teachers and refusing to listen to lessons taught by other teachers. It may be recalled here that teaching and non-teaching staff of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan are on relay hunger strike during the last 19 days demanding the government to fulfill its promises made to them.

Education department officials have tried to teach lessons to students by engaging other teachers. However, students staged dharna demanding their own teachers. Though officials tried to convince students, they refused to attend classes.
