Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao condoled the demise of Maulana Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed, president of Jamiat Ulama-Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In a statement, Rama Rao said the Maulana was a renowned Alim-e-Deen and selfless leader whose services to the community and society would always be remembered. He said Maulana Shabbir Ahmed had devoted his entire life to religious, educational, and social causes, working tirelessly for the welfare of the needy through Jamiat Ulama.
He said the late scholar had played an important role in the development of Telangana and in the protection of religious and national rights. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and members of Jamiat Ulema, assuring that the BRS stands by them in this hour of grief.
