Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Organisations United Forum (M&HOUF), Telangana has launched a monitoring cell and a help desk (040-48213321) that will provide all possible support for healthcare workers and their families who test positive for Covid. The M&HOUF, which consists of members drawn from various organisations representing the interests of healthcare workers, said that the help desk will operate round-the-clock and track the recovery status of those who have tested positive for the virus.

There have been instances during the ongoing second wave of the Covid pandemic when healthcare workers have struggled to get a hospital bed. Many also have ended-up struggling to raise finances and avail healthcare facilities in private hospitals. The united forum for all the medical organisations will also strive to address such issues, M&HOUF said. The members also thanked Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, Vakati Karuna, for lending a helping hand in establishing the help desk.
