Hyderabad: The State government is exploring the possibility of launching fever surveys across Telangana to contain the Omicron-driven Covid-19 third wave.
With daily Covid infections rising steadily, a door- to-door campaign to identify individuals with fevers on the spot and distribute the home isolation medical kits to them, is likely to be taken up in the coming days.
To hammer out strategy on containing the Omicron driven third wave and discuss fever surveys, a review meeting with District Collectors will be held by Health Minister, T Harish Rao, MA&UD Minister, K T Rama Rao, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Minister, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar on Thursday.
