Hyderabad: Telangana reported 122 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,966 and the total number of positive cases to 6,72,489. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday, was 3,764.

The authorities today conducted 25,847 Covid tests of which results of 730 samples were awaited. A total of 171 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98. 85 per cent on Sunday.

So far, a total of 2,77,97,314 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,72,489 have tested positive and 6,64,759 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one each from Adilabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem, 46 from areas under GHMC, two from Jagityal, six from Karimnagar, nine from Khammam, one from Komarambheem Asifabad, three from Mahabubabad, one from Medak, seven from Medchal-Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, six from Nalgonda, four from Nizamabad, six from Peddapalli, one from Rajanna Siricilla, 10 from Rangareddy, five from Sangaredy, four from Siddipet, four from Warangal Rural and three from Warangal Urban.
