Telangana logs 129 new Covid cases, one death
As of Monday, there were 1, 643 active Covid-19 cases in the State
Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 129 new Covid-19 infections with one fatality on Monday, taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,619 while the total number of positive cases is 2, 96,802. As of Monday, there were 1, 643 active Covid-19 cases in the State. A total of 161 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2, 93, 540 with a recovery rate of 98.90 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97.3 percent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 24, 851 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 516 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 83, 36, 255 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2, 96, 802 have tested positive and 2, 93, 540 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four each from Adilabad and Bhadradri, 23 from areas under GHMC, five from Jagtiyal, one from Jangaon, seven from Karimnagar, six from Khammam, four from Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, five from Mancherial, seven from Medchal Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, two from Nagarkurnool, five from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, three from Nizamabad, five from Peddapalli, three from Siricilla, nine from Rangareddy, four from Sangareddy, one from Siddipet, two each from Suryapet, Vikarabad and Wanaparthy, four from Warangal Rural, seven from Warangal Urban and four from Bhongir.
